The birth dates of William Brantley's children by a previous marriage, Blake, John and Hester, wife of John White are not given] These were noted as NC Bible Record, Book A 1788-1877 and the # given on the above record is 400.1.1.96 Departed this life on the 2nd June 1875, in her 68th year Elizabeth A. Burns, the Consort of Henry C. Burns (Newspaper clipping pasted in Bible) This Bible is now in the Possession of Mrs. E.C. Winchester, Monroe N.C. who kindly gave us permission to use these records. It says here that Tomlinson was Williams Second wife and the number of Brantly children are 17.
