William Presley Avant had a son Wiley Winset Avant. He also had a son William Bethal Avant who was my great grandfather. William Bethal moved to Oklahoma somewhere around Clara Okla.. His son Mason Simpson was my grandfather and his son Elmer Keller was my father (one of 13 Children).
Wiley would have been the son of William Presley who was the son of Durham. Steve emailed me that Durham's father was another Durham Avent who was born in Greensville Co, Va before 1789. whose father was William Avent (1748=1802. This makes alot of since to me. Hope this helps.
