      Jim married Minnie Frances Stone from Middleburg on Feb. 22, 1903. He built a log house for his bride on the farm and he continued to farm with his father and brothers. Five children were born of this marriage:
      Annie Lucille, b. 1904, d. 1984
      Blanche Carew, b. 1905, d. 1981
      James Grady, b. 1910, d. 1984
      Leo Everett, b. 1915
      Marvin Stone, b. 1918, d. 1993
      Jim and Minnie moved to Bolivar in 1938 to a house Lucille and Everett had built on 35 acres of land they had purchased. Minnie died in 1966 at the age of 84.
