      ============
      No Alease Coleman anywhere in NC in 1920 or 1930 censuses. There is evidence she was born in Durham, and the closest to her in the census record is:

      1920 census, Durham:
      Coleman, Bud N. (?), head, 29, b. NC both parents b. NC
      Mary, wife, 23, b. NC both parents b. NC
      Julian, son, 5
      Christine, daughter, 3
      Aline, daughter, 4/12

      Bud and Mary have moved to Burlington in the 1930 census, where we know Billie lived, so that makes this family the best candidate. Also, "Aline" from the 1920 census is now called "Elise" in the 1930 census, so this seems to be the right bunch.

      1930 census, Alamance Co. NC, Burlington:

      Coleman, B. F., head, 36, working as superintendent at hosiery mill, 1st marr at age 21
      Mary, wife, 33, 1st marr at age 16
      Julian, 13
      Christine, 13
      Elise, 10
      B.F., Jr., 8

      wife Mary and all children have birthplace of VA, which differs from 1920 census.
