Keziah (spelled various ways) was not an uncommon surname in Northampton & Halifax counties, NC, so possibly she was adopted.

William Woodruff died and Elizabeth woodruff married ? Walton and removed to Limestone County, Ala. James Avent and wife Mary "Polly" Avent are buried in Limestone County, Ala. also.
Peter married Sarah ? and left Greensville for Halifax Co., N C before moving on to Hardeman County, Tennessee.
