Benjamin Franklin Avent was the child of Benjamin Ward Avent, born on 1/22/1796 at Nash County, N.C., died at Yalobusha County, MIss. on 1851. The wife was Mary Eley, born on 5/4/1800 at Halifax County, N.C., died at Yalobusha County, Miss. on 1876; married on 12/19/1816.
BENJAMIN WARD AVENT was born January 22, 1796. He married MARY ELEY December 19, 1816 in North Carolina. She was born April 05, 1800.
Notes for BENJAMIN WARD AVENT:
Married in North Carolina and came to Mississippi with all their children in 1848. They had a son named Benjamin Ward Avent who died when he was about 2 years of age.
